additional liquid (1/4-cup water) if necessary. Blend the mixture in a baby food
processor. Steamed Vegetables are now ready to serve. Peanut
Butter recipe How to prepare: Take ½ cup creamy unsalted peanut butter,
1/3 cup rice crispies, 4 tbsp dry coconut, 1/2 cup plain yogurt. Blend all the
mixture in a baby food processor and serve. Banana
Mash recipe Banana Mash is very easy to prepare and takes around 5 min
to prepare. How to prepare: Mash 1 to 2 bananas till they become soft. Add
breast milk, juice or water to it. Mix the mixture well. Banana Mash is now ready
to serve. Tips
to remember while Preparing Baby Food 1. Always buy fresh fruits and vegetables.
Avoid using them if they are two days old. The best fruits you can use are mainly
apples, apricots, pineapples, pears or dry fruits. In vegetables you can go for
cauliflower, carrots, beets, peas, sweet potatoes, potatoes or squash. 2.
Wash your hands clean before preparing food for you baby. Also wash the utensils,
fruits and vegetables clean before using them. 3. To save all the vitamins
and minerals boil the food till it becomes soft. 4. Use less proportion of
water when your baby starts consuming solid foods. 5. Remember to strain
the seeds of fruits, if any before serving 6. Always serve the food warm.
Avoid serving very hot food. 7. Avoid using microwaves for heating baby food.
8. Feed reasonable amount of food that your baby will consume at a particular
