Oil: Is Baby oil good or bad for your child's skin? Most of us are not sure
of this answer. If your baby has a soft skin there is no need to apply baby oil.
However if your child has a dry skin, you will need it. Baby Oil nourishes the
skin of the child, making it soft, smooth and supple than before. A natural baby
oil will heal, nourish and protect your baby's delicate skin. Baby
Bath: Proper baby bath is very important to keep a child healthy. Wash your
baby clean by giving them bath daily. Proper baby bath keeps the baby safe and
healthy. Use soft cotton towels to clean them dry. You must use special Baby soaps
for bathing your child. The skin of a newly born is very delicate hence it is
very important to give them proper care. Baby
Powder: Protect your baby's skin by using Baby powder after bath. Proper Baby
Powder refreshes the skin of your child making it soft and smooth. It absorbs
odour and moisture and makes your child feels fresh. However you also need to
take some precautions while applying the baby powder. Avoid using excess baby
powder as this might get into your baby's lungs and cause some breathing problems.
Avoid applying the powder if the baby has got any rashes due to diapers. Baby
Milk Bottle: You can feed your baby bottle milk after 2 to 3 weeks of breast-feeding.
However, it is advisable to breast feed the child at least for 1 year. Always
remember that bottle-feeding is very different from breast-feeding. Your baby
might take some days to adjust to bottle milk. If you decide to bottle feed your
baby, it is important to choose the right type of milk. In the first six months,
the most suitable milk is the breast milk or baby milk. Baby
Diapers: Diapers are important accessories for an infant. Baby Diapers need
to be changed at least eight times a day to prevent the rashes. Rashes are caused
when the skin stays wet for too long. The most common reason for diaper rashes
is excess moisture. You can prevent diaper rashes by applying water to the irritated
area, each time you change the diapers. You can also apply an ointment or cream
to avoid any rashes. Even after taking the necessary precautions if your baby
suffers from rashes, it would advisable to consult your pediatrician.
